Landscraper is James Freeman, Nicholas Hunt, Joel Murray and myself. I'm fortunate to have years of experience writing, playing and touring with each of them prior to this project - in various groups you can read about under the 'Basics' heading.
This band is broadly the culmination of all our time spent in individual music-worlds. It's fresh and exciting to be crafting new, original pieces of guitar-bass-drums music together, and an oh-so-natural fit. Given our pre-existing chemistry and shared admiration for fringe sub-genres: it's flowing. Landscraper's possiblities at this stage feel relatively limitless and without precedent. Our writing process is fluid and quick; we're still in that special stage of saying yes to everything.
